Coffee and a Card with the Paradise Garden Set is one of those projects that reminds you how simple stamping can still feel special. This card is bright, cheerful, and completely beginner friendly. No complicated layers. No tricky techniques. Just ink, stamps, and a layout that works every single time.

This is the exact card we made during this week’s Coffee & a Card—our casual midweek craft break on Facebook where we chat, sip on our favorite beverage, and make something wonderful. And this card? It checks all the boxes: easy border stamping, bold color, a clean sentiment, and just enough sparkle from those sweet pearl embellishments to make it feel finished.

Let’s Talk About Color

022526 Colors

The color combination really brings this card to life. Highland Heather gives it softness. Calypso Coral adds energy and warmth. Granny Apple Green keeps everything feeling fresh and lively. Together, they create a bright floral look that feels happy without being overwhelming.

The Paradise Garden Stamp Set makes this design almost effortless, which makes it perfect for making a beginner-friendly card. The floral images are simple to line up, and repeating them across the top and bottom creates a beautiful frame for the sentiment. If you’re newer to stamping, this kind of border layout is forgiving and fun. If something lands slightly off, it just looks artistic. I love that!

And let’s talk about those Pearls of Beauty for a second. A few tiny pearls in the flower centers add polish without adding fuss. They’re the kind of detail that makes someone pause for just a second when they open the envelope.

This card is perfect for thank you notes, but it would also work beautifully for encouragement or a simple “thinking of you.” Sometimes the easiest cards are the ones we actually send. And those are the ones that matter most.

If you like this card, make sure you watch a recap of the live video, as well as the written tutorial, which has all of the measurements and step-by-step instructions. A handmade thank you may seem small, but it has a way of making someone feel seen and appreciated in a way store-bought never quite does.
